Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant with a specialization in riverine modelling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of surface water quality in river systems, developing and applying hydrodynamic and water quality models, and providing strategic recommendations to improve water management practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects that address environmental challenges, engage with clients to understand their needs, and deliver high-quality reports and presentations that communicate findings and solutions effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing riverine water quality monitoring programs, analyzing water quality data, and interpreting results to inform decision-making. You will also play a crucial role in preparing technical reports, regulatory submissions, and project proposals. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff, support project management activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies and best practices in riverine modelling. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in relevant software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar), and a solid understanding of environmental regulations are essential for success in this role.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources Management, or a related field, along with significant experience in riverine modelling and water quality assessment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are critical.
