Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant specializing in Riverine Modelling to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the water quality of riverine systems through rigorous data analysis, modelling, and fieldwork. You will conduct comprehensive assessments of river health, develop water quality models, and recommend strategies for mitigating pollution and enhancing ecosystem services. Your expertise will contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and proposals that align with regulatory frameworks and client needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, hydrology, or a related field, complemented by at least 5 years of relevant experience in riverine modelling or water quality assessment. Proficiency in modelling software (e.g., SWAT, HEC-RAS, or similar) is essential, along with the ability to analyze complex datasets and interpret results effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and community groups. A Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in diverse environments.
