Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of riverine ecosystems, focusing on water quality and hydrology. You will utilize advanced modelling techniques to analyze and predict the impacts of various environmental factors on water systems. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective management strategies and contribute to regional water resource planning initiatives. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed technical reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, hydrology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in riverine modelling software and data analysis tools is essential. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. A proven track record in project management and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be critical to your success in this role. A Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred, and experience in stakeholder engagement and policy development will be considered an asset.
