Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of riverine systems, focusing on hydrology, water quality, and ecological health. You will lead projects aimed at understanding and mitigating the impacts of anthropogenic activities on water bodies. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and applying advanced riverine modelling techniques to predict water quality outcomes and inform effective management strategies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance with environmental standards and contribute to sustainable water management practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, hydrology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in riverine modelling and water quality assessment. Proficiency in using modelling software such as MIKE, HEC-RAS, or similar tools is essential. You should have a deep understanding of water quality parameters, regulatory frameworks, and best management practices. Strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication and project management abilities, are vital for presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders effectively.
