Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling)
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of marine water quality and utilizing advanced modelling techniques to evaluate the impact of various environmental factors on aquatic ecosystems. You will lead projects that involve data collection, analysis, and interpretation, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing strategies for managing water quality issues, as well as advising clients on best practices for sustainable marine resource management.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine science or environmental engineering, with a proven track record in marine modelling and water quality assessment. Key responsibilities include designing and executing field studies, utilizing modelling software to predict water quality scenarios, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on research projects. You will also be expected to prepare technical reports, deliver presentations to stakeholders, and contribute to client proposals. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred, along with proficiency in modelling tools such as MIKE, Delft3D, or similar software.
