Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of marine water quality, utilizing advanced modelling techniques to predict environmental impacts and inform management strategies. Your expertise will be essential in designing and executing monitoring programs, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders, including governmental agencies, private sector clients, and non-profit organizations. You will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices while mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine science, hydrology, or environmental engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in marine modelling and water quality assessment. Proficiency in using modelling software such as MIKE, Delft3D, or similar tools is required. You should have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities are crucial, as you will be responsible for preparing technical reports, presenting findings to clients, and engaging with diverse stakeholders. A master’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred, along with a commitment to environmental sustainability and innovation.
