Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling)
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant specializing in Marine Modelling to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing marine water quality issues, providing expert guidance on environmental regulations, and developing advanced marine models to simulate water quality conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement projects aimed at improving aquatic ecosystems, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and supporting sustainable marine practices.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting field assessments, analyzing water quality data, and interpreting model outputs to provide actionable insights. You will lead technical reports and presentations, communicate findings to stakeholders, and support the preparation of grant proposals and project budgets. As a Senior Consultant, you will mentor junior staff, oversee project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in relevant software (such as MATLAB or R), and a solid understanding of marine ecology and hydrodynamics are essential for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in marine modelling and water quality assessments.
