Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Marine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant specializing in Marine Modelling to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth assessments of marine water quality and developing innovative modelling solutions to simulate and predict environmental impacts. Your expertise will be critical in guiding clients through complex regulatory frameworks while ensuring compliance with environmental standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement monitoring programs, analyze data, and provide insights that inform sustainable marine management practices.
Key responsibilities include leading project teams in the development of marine models, contributing to the preparation of technical reports and proposals, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will engage with regulatory bodies and clients to communicate modelling results and recommendations effectively. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth while ensuring the quality and accuracy of project deliverables. A strong background in marine ecology, hydrodynamics, and water quality assessment techniques is essential, along with proficiency in relevant modelling software and tools.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in marine modelling or water quality consulting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
