Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant (Riverine Modelling)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Water Quality Consultant / Senior Consultant specialized in Riverine Modelling to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of river systems, focusing on water quality and ecological health. You will lead projects that involve data collection, analysis, and modeling to inform management strategies for sustainable water resources. Your expertise will guide clients in regulatory compliance, pollution control, and effective water management practices. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will prepare technical reports, deliver presentations, and communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of complex environmental issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, hydrology, or a related field, with proven experience in riverine and water quality modeling. Proficiency in software such as MIKE, HEC-RAS, or similar tools is essential. You should have excellent analytical skills, with a capacity to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will interact with clients, regulatory bodies, and the public. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of experience in environmental consultancy or research are required. Certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) will be considered an advantage.
