We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will lead the technical aspects of HVAC projects, from initial concept through to completion, collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Your expertise will play a critical role in optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability in our designs, contributing to our commitment to environmentally responsible engineering practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HVAC systems, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system selection. You will be expected to conduct site surveys and assessments, prepare detailed engineering calculations, and create technical specifications and documentation. Strong project management skills are essential, as you will oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. In addition, you will mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and ensure the success of our engineering team.
To be successful in this position, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC design and engineering. Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools is required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
