We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team across our office locations in Cambridge, Leeds, and London. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to protect sensitive information and systems. Your primary duties will include conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and deploying security measures to mitigate potential threats. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security practices are integrated into all aspects of our operations.

To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and intrusion detection systems. A key aspect of your role will involve monitoring security incidents and responding to breaches, ensuring that effective incident response strategies are in place. You will also be tasked with developing and updating security documentation, as well as providing training and support to staff on security best practices. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, is highly desirable.
