We are seeking an experienced Global Packaging Sustainability Manager for a 12-month contract to lead our packaging sustainability initiatives across all divisions of our organization. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative packaging strategies that align with our commitment to environmental sustainability. Your expertise will guide our efforts in reducing packaging waste, improving recyclability, and sourcing sustainable materials, ensuring that our packaging solutions meet both business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of current packaging practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design sustainable packaging solutions, and monitoring industry trends to keep our strategies up-to-date. You will also be responsible for engaging with suppliers to source eco-friendly materials, developing training programs to educate staff on sustainability practices, and reporting on progress towards sustainability goals. Strong analytical skills are essential, as you'll be expected to track and report on key performance indicators related to packaging sustainability.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Environmental Science, Packaging Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging sustainability or a similar role. You should have a deep understanding of sustainable packaging materials, design principles, and lifecycle analysis. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with diverse teams to drive our sustainability agenda.
