We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity posture and protect our digital assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across various platforms. You will analyze security alerts, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement effective security measures to safeguard the organization’s information systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure compliance with security policies and frameworks while proactively identifying areas for improvement in our security processes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence. Key responsibilities include managing security tools, conducting forensic investigations, and developing incident response plans. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining documentation for security protocols, conducting training sessions for staff, and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. A background in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS is highly desirable, along with experience in scripting or automation to enhance operational efficiency.
