Knowledge of IP networking, databases, operating systems, system integrations and cybersecurity principles is desirable, along with practical experience of fault-finding and technical diagnostics. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, data protection obligations, health and safety requirements and change-control processes would be advantageous. A methodical approach, strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. You should be comfortable working independently while contributing effectively to multidisciplinary projects, and be able to explain technical issues clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
