You will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitating design workshops, documenting complex concepts and influencing outcomes without direct authority. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a pragmatic approach to balancing security, usability, cost and delivery requirements.

We are seeking a Cyber Security Incident Co-Ordinator to support the effective management of cyber security incidents across the organisation. You will act as a central point of coordination during the incident lifecycle, helping to ensure that potential threats are identified, assessed, contained and resolved in a timely and controlled manner. This role will work closely with security operations, technology, risk, compliance, infrastructure and business teams to coordinate responses and minimise operational impact.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and triaging reported security incidents, maintaining accurate incident records, coordinating actions across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring that appropriate escalation processes are followed. You will help organise incident response calls, track investigative activity, manage communications, and provide clear updates to relevant stakeholders. You will also support the preparation of incident reports, post-incident reviews and lessons-learned activities, helping to identify improvements to controls, procedures and response capabilities. The role may involve supporting vulnerability-related investigations, evidence gathering, regulatory reporting and the ongoing development of incident response playbooks.

The successful candidate will have experience in cyber security, IT service management, incident coordination, or a related operational environment. You should be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities and communicating clearly with people at all levels. A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential. You will ideally have knowledge of cyber security incident management principles, common attack techniques, security monitoring processes and frameworks such as ITIL, NIST or ISO 27001. Experience using ticketing, case management, security information and event management, or other operational tools would be beneficial. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are desirable, along with a commitment to continuous learning and maintaining awareness of the evolving threat landscape.
