We are seeking an experienced and dedicated People & Payroll Services Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process and managing the people services function. You will ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive work environment. Your leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence and enhancing employee engagement across the organization.
Your primary duties will include managing payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, and maintaining payroll records. You will also lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Additionally, you will develop and implement HR policies and procedures, monitor key HR metrics, and collaborate with management to address employee concerns and improve workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of payroll systems and human resources best practices, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with relevant certification (CIPP, CIPD, etc.), is preferred. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and HR management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving HR initiatives.
