We are seeking a Data Privacy & Protection Analyst to support the effective management of data protection requirements across a complex organisation. In this role, you will help ensure that personal information is collected, used, stored and shared lawfully, fairly and transparently. You will work with colleagues across business, technology, legal, security and operational teams to provide practical advice and promote a strong culture of privacy and responsible data use.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining records of processing activities, supporting data protection impact assessments, reviewing privacy notices and contractual clauses, and assisting with the management of individual rights requests. You will monitor compliance with relevant privacy legislation and internal policies, help assess and document data breaches, and contribute to investigations, reporting and corrective actions. You will also support supplier and third-party reviews, respond to privacy queries, maintain accurate records and prepare clear management information on risks, issues and remediation progress.

The successful candidate will have experience in a data protection, privacy, compliance, risk or information governance role, with a sound understanding of applicable privacy principles and regulatory requirements. Professional qualifications or recognised training in data protection are desirable, as is experience using privacy management tools or governance frameworks. You should be analytical, organised and confident interpreting complex information, identifying practical solutions and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Experience working with data mapping, information security, audit activity, incident management or records management would be advantageous.
